Apparently a majority of Britons don’t know where their heart is physically located in their body, and can’t identify what major organs look like. Sadly, I am sure the same survey conducted in Canada would be just as embarrassing. I bet plenty of people think it’s shaped just like the one on Valentine’s Day cards too.
If you don’t know where you heart is, do you really deserve to even have one?
“Overall, people knew less basic anatomy than the researchers expected — even those patients being treated for a specific condition involving that organ.” Can you believe that people who have some sort of affliction of a particular organ still don’t know where it is or what it looks like?
