Apparently Barack Obama really scares gun aficionados into thinking he is going to take away their guns and ammo, and some stores in the US have been running out of ammo. The rationale behind the ammo buying spree is that Obama would raise taxes on bullets or outlaw guns altogether.
One gun shop owner described it thus, “There are a lot of rumors floating around that the present government would like to increase taxes on ammunition. I think [there is] just a lot of panicked buying going on.” This isn’t the stock market we are talking about, our American friends are in panic mode over bullets. With the spate of murder suicides, mass homicides, mass layoffs, and so many people losing their homes, this should be disturbing news.
I hate to say it, but if you haven’t stocked up maybe you should. One can never know when exactly that Rambo next door, who does your taxes by day, is going to finally snap and unleash his arsenal of hell on your family.
