Not sure what is sicker, the fact that some Saudi family sold their 8 year old off into sexual slavery, or the fact that a Saudi judge (who probably has his own 7 year old sex slave at home) has refused her petition for divorce. Twice. Adulterers they will stone, but child molesters are welcome in Saudi Arabia. Especially if you have money.
Saudi officials are threatening to start regulating the marriages of young girls in response to the negative press in regards to this issue. The fact that Saudi families marry off young daughters for money is not a shock, as pimping out or stoning of one’s daughters (what else do you do with girls right?) are par the course in this, sandy pedo-paradise.
But don’t jump to conclusions, the Saudis are not completely barbaric. The local judge that refused the divorce petition, even knowing the mother filed it and stipulated that her husband traded their daughter away to settle a debt, ordered that he not have sex with her until she reach puberty. What a civililzed gentleman!

A Saudi cleric has also said “showing both eyes encouraged women to use eye make-up to look seductive”, so he suggest that women start wearing a full gown that covers all but one eye.
Listen Mr. Sheikh Muhammad al-Habadan, you have this all wrong. It’s much easier to just poke every Saudi Arabian woman’s eye out. Then not only do you not have to bother with enforcing laws, you can send them to work with the Somali pirates, because that eye patch will really help them fit in.
